It was a
great honour to have been selected as the official florist for the wedding of
Deepika
Padukone
and Ranveer Singhh. These two Bollywood stars were an absolute pleasure to work
with; their
cheerful personalities, kind manners, natural beauty and professionalism truly
defined
them.
A royal
wedding is a perfect way to describe this event in its entirety. The location
played a
magnificent
part. Villa del Balbianello, overlooking Lake Como, surrounded our bride and
groom
with
spectacular views and a romantic, elegant setting. But what was truely
extraordinary was the
vast
following their wedding had on social media. Using the hashtag
#deepveerwedding, they
received
massive international support from their shared 43 million followers on
Instagram, and
were
promoted by many Indian journalists.To keep this sacred day intimate, Deepika
and Ranveer
said yes
with a private ceremony of about 60 guests, made up of family members and close
friends.
Deepika and
Ranveer are adored in India, and during the festivities many journalists
crowded Lake
Como. They
remained there with the hope to capture a sneak peak of the ceremony, the
celebration
and report minute by minute on all the excitement. Even our team here at
