Chapter I:
The Birth of Our Story
Floralia Events Design was not born in a day, but over a century. Its roots trace back to the rose and carnation fields tended by our grandparents in the early 1900s, a tradition of beauty, fragrance and perfection that flows through our veins.
A single flower, however magnificent, is only a word. Our true passion lies in transforming that word into a sentence, that sentence into a chapter, and that chapter into the one-of-a-kind story of your event.
With a background in art and literature, we have learned that true design does more than decorate—it tells a story. That is why, since 1990, we have embarked on a journey that reaches far beyond the world of flowers.
Chapter II:
The Collection of Emotions and “Ali Baba’s Cave”
Every story needs its characters, its symbols. Our obsession with objects, which we discovered in antique markets, uncovered at grand fairs, and collected from diverse eras and cultures, is our little secret.
We filled an entire warehouse, which our clients affectionately came to call the “Ali Baba’s Cave,” not with mere objects, but with an infinite vocabulary of atmospheres. This vast archive of floral props and accessories is our personal set, our library of scenic elements, ready to be brought to life.
Chapter III:
Styling as Storytelling
For us, designing an event is not simply about arranging centrepieces, it is about crafting a fully immersive, sensory experience. It is like directing a film, where every element represents a deliberate narrative choice.
Every element evokes a specific feeling. Flowers, for example, go far beyond mere colour, they are the emotional tone of the event. A bouquet of peonies whispers romance, while a composition of rare exotic blooms evokes a sense of travel and adventure. All natural elements act as a sensory background music.
Joining them are Light and Fabrics, flowing seamlessly into our scenographic direction. Together, they define the visual rhythm, create shadows and focal points, and guide the gaze and senses of every guest, transforming a simple space into a true emotional stage.
Finally, there are the Objects (the “Props”), which shape your story’s intricate details. For us, an object placed on a table is never random; it is the exclamation point that conveys the personality, passion or deeper story of the couple (or the brand) we are celebrating.
